Sorry ladies, but Neil Nitin Mukesh is off limits these days. And he appears to be on cloud nine. The lucky lady in question is Priyanka Bhatia and she accompanied him to the private screening of his latest movie, Jail, in which he stars opposite Mughda Godse. Also present were his parents and brother.
Given that this is a Madhur Bhandarkar flick, and that he is known for striking a chord with his audience, it is unsurprising that Neil's mother and lady love were moved to tears while watching the film.
Mukesh told Bollywood Hungama: "Priyanka and my mum were torn apart. They weren't looking at a character going through a traumatic time, to them, it was watching someone they love in pain."
By the way, a wedding might be on the cards soon.
The actor said: "My parents and hers get along like a house on fire; we also visit each other all the time. More than lovers, Priyanka and I are friends first. There is a level of comfort in our interaction and we don't have to hide anything from each other. There's no pressure for marriage, when it happens, it happens."
With his girlfriend a fashion designer, Mukesh says he wouldn't mind having her design his costumes - nudge, nudge, wink, wink to directors.
On how he felt about Ranbir Kapoor's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani releasing on the same day as Jail in India, he said: "Ranbir and I are competitors, but there's no rivalry. Our fathers wouldn't take kindly to us behaving like spoilt brats. Besides, Ranbir is like my younger brother."
Good friends are hard to come by and choreographer Ahmed Khan is grateful to have Shahid Kapoor in his life. And one can understand why.
After Khan couldn't keep his promise to take his kids to Disneyland, Kapoor stepped in to make it happen.
Khan told Bollywood Hungama: "I had been promising my two sons, Azaan and Subhan, a trip to Disneyland for months. Earlier, when we shot in the US for Yash Raj Film's Bachna Ae Haseeno, I kept hoping there would be time. But I couldn't manage to get away. This time Shahid made sure it happened."
And how did Kapoor pull off this feat?
Rumour has it he ensured that Khan managed to get his work done as quickly as possible, while he arranged the flights for Saira (Khan's wife) and the boys to Disneyland.
Khan said: "Shahid and I are childhood friends. Before my mother held my sons, Shahid did. So it's perfectly natural for him to look out for me and my family."
All work and no play is making Saif Ali Khan a very sick boy these days.
Aside from putting all his energy into promoting Kurbaan, the actor also had to deal with a bout of food poisoning. Suffice to say, he had to then curtail most of his promotional plans.
Girlfriend Kareena Kapoor didn't stray far from him, though. She told Bollywood Hungama: "Poor Saif, he's been down with a 102176F (38.9176C) temperature. The promotional stuff for Kurbaan has been delayed by a couple of days as he now needs to rest.
"Initially, we thought it could be malaria or typhoid, but the tests revealed a mild stomach problem."
Khan, on the other hand, brushed off the setback: "People think it's serious every time I fall ill, but I just had a stomach infection this time. I am better and resting for a couple of days."
Phew, that's a relief for fans!
South Indian actress Shriya Saran is gorgeous. She might not have impressed in her last outing - Kanthaswamy - but there is no masking her popularity.
And if you are wondering how much time she spends at gym sculpting that svelte figure, you don't have to anymore.
Saran told Galatta it all boils down to following the right diet and combining it with a good workout.
She said: "Anyone can get starving skinny, but that's not the right or healthy way. And if you shed weight that way, you are going to look haggard.
"When I'm at home, I start the day with orange juice. I read somewhere that it burns fat. My breakfast comprises egg white, with a dosa or paratha. From there on, it's small portions of food every two hours.
"When I'm travelling, I continue my low carb diet and go for lots of grilled fish and chicken. No matter where I am though, I have litres and litres of water."
While South African film buffs have yet to see Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, there are plans for a sequel.
Rumour has it producer Ramesh Taurani is putting pressure on Rajkumar Santoshi to get cracking on the follow-up to the rom-com and that he is undecided about casting Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol.
Besides trying to get Ranbir Kapoor to commit to the dates, Santoshi wants the sequel to be different and exciting.
As things stand, Deol is keen and Santoshi is writing a part with SRK in mind. Guess he might not have to choose after all, he can just sign up both of them.
