What has been the highlight of your year so far?
Donning the bear suit again for Kickstart's Winnie the Pooh at Durban's Playhouse Opera, because the faces of the kids when they saw all of us on stage was priceless.
Favourite Durban restaurant, shop, mall and local leisure activity.
Restaurant: Cafe 1999. Shop: Creatures and Critters in Hillcrest. Mall? They are all the same, really. Activity: playing pool with my friends at Vill-Inn's in Glenwood Village.
The movie you most enjoyed in the past 12 months? And your favourite film of all time?
Lars and the Real Girl was great. It was offbeat and strange, but really funny and oddly sweet. Favourite movie of all time is probably The Color Purple. I cry like a baby every time I see it.
The album currently in your CD player?
The Best Of by Radiohead.
Favourite kind of meal? And least favourite?
I love a big breakfast fry-up. I detest tripe and onions.
How do you keep fit?
I don't. I play tennis every so often and have a membership to a gym, which I hardly ever use.
The three things that make South Africa great?
The weather, the rugby and the glorious adrenalin rush you get when driving through dodgy areas at night.
The word or phrase you most overuse?
"If you've got the wine, I've got the time."
One thing about yourself that you'd love to change?
Just one? Okay, my lack of common sense.
How and where did you celebrate your last birthday? And when is your birthday?
I have a tradition every year. My friends meet in the late morning at the tennis courts. Some of us play, while others get tiddly and act as cheerleaders. Then, when the sun gets too hot, everyone comes back to my place for a swim and braai. My birthday is on April 4.
Dream holiday? And with whom if it could be a fantasy date?
I've always wanted to go to Antarctica. I would take Daniel Craig with me. In that cold climate I would need someone to cuddle up to at night.
If you could be an animal what would it be?
My cat. It lives a lazy life of luxury and comfort, being fed three times a day and spending the rest of the time sleeping and stealing my biltong.
Personalities you most admire?
David Attenborough. He's dedicated his life to educating the world about the importance of the natural world.
Also, Madonna. She's just fabulous!
Six things you truly love? And six things you detest?
Loves: funny books, soppy movies, cold weather, my beautiful nephews, watching cricket, living on the Bluff. Hates: bad drivers, politics, government hospitals, cooked green beans, mosquitoes, soap operas.
The funniest thing that ever happened to you?
Can't think, my life has been full of incidents that have been funny at my expense. I've always said my life is like a cross between Clueless and Trainspotting.
Favourite actor, actress, author, singer, band and TV show?
Ryan Gosling, Dame Judi Dench, Carol Trench, Radiohead, Tom Sharpe and the UK Strictly Come Dancing series.
Three things you have to do before you die?
Grow old, perform for the Royal Shakespeare Company and compose a musical.
What are you reading at the moment?
Nothing. I've been been too involved with my PlayStation.
Your three favourite cities in the world?
Durban, want dis lekker by die see; Dublin, because I just love the Irish; and London, because it's so vibrant and full of history.
Five things about yourself that most people don't know?
I sleep on the right side of my bed. I can play the guitar. I make the best bread in the world. I dreamt of being a concert pianist. I can knit.
