By Tonight Reporter

The Platinum-selling and multiple award-winning US rock band The Killers finally make their way to South Africa this week.

The concerts take place tomorrow and on Friday at the Coca-Cola Dome (Joburg) and on Sunday at the Val De Vie Wine and Polo Estate (Cape Town).

The gig is presented by Heineken, in association with 94.5 Kfm and 94.7 Highveld Stereo.

The Killers will be ably supported by local electro-rockers Zebra & Giraffe.

Big Concerts, the event organisers, advise all fans to car-pool to the concert in order to ease traffic congestion

They also recommended that people arrive at the venue as early as possible.

The gates to the concerts in Joburg open at 6pm and for the Cape Town leg at 4pm.

A map that details the suggested approach routes is available online at www.heineken.co.za

Prohibited items: all cameras, cooler boxes, all food and refreshments, any weapons, drugs and recording equipment.

The organisers have also confirmed that no concert tickets can be bought at the venue.
