  • Underwater Universe, History, 20.30

    This show tracks the history and evolution of the ocean's seven deadliest zones - locations that throughout history have been the direct causes of human devastation by floods, tsunamis, hurricanes, whirlpools, ice, underwater volcanoes and shipping graveyards. Leading oceanographers, expert footage and 3D graphics depict the breath-taking cosmic and geological factors that make the oceans deadly over time.



  • Losing Isaiah, SET, 20.30

    Oscar-winners Jessica Lange and Halle Berry give powerful, poignant performances in this moving drama. Lange plays Margaret, a white social worker who adopts an abandoned baby, while Berry - in a remarkable portrayal heralded as her dramatic breakthrough - plays Khaila, the birth mother who cleans up her life and sets out to reclaim her child. The movie also features a sterling supporting cast, including Samuel L Jackson (Pulp Fiction) as Khaila's firebrand attorney, Cuba Gooding jr (Jerry Maguire) and David Strathairn (The Bourne Ultimatum).

    Staying Alive is back for World Aids day with another thought-provoking drama that tackles the social issues facing the youth of today. Staying Alive: Shuga is produced, cast and shot in Kenya.
