Celebrity blogger and murder accused Musa Khawula is still alive, despite what the rumour mill is churning. Khawula on Tuesday appeared in the Vredenburg Magistrates Court.
Khawula’s absence on the gossip streets has not gone unnoticed and social media users were starting to wonder where the pot stirrer was.
Someone sparked rumours that Khawula had died, but Khawula is very much alive and is currently serving a 60-day sentence for failing to appear in a Gauteng court.
The well-known blogger and celebrity troll, was arrested on July 9 in the Western Cape after appearing in Vredenburg Magistrates Court, where he is accused of murder.
Khawula’s court appearance on Tuesday was brief as it was postponed to September 2, to allow him to get a lawyer after being dropped by his previous one.
The gossip monger has stepped on many toes, thanks to his utterances and it seems he went too far.
Khawula is the subject of a civil lawsuit with Nozuko Mbalula, the wife of ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula and her business partner Michelle Perrow.
Mbalula posted the court order on his X account at the end of May.
Khawula was ordered to pay damages to the applicants and ordered to cover the legal costs of the application. The blogger was ordered to remove the defamatory statements from his X feed within 48 hours of the order being granted.
Khawula is involved in the ongoing murder case from the March 2022 murder of his then boyfriend Wandile Khambule.
Khambule was stabbed to death at his Goud Street, Ongegund home on March 4, 2022.
