Brutal Fruit Spritzer has launched a new global movement called The Pink Table, which celebrates the power of women coming together.
Brutal Fruit, for years, has been bringing together its “Besties” to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories through its popular event, The Spritzer Brunch.
The Brutal Fruit Spritzer Saturdays are now being elevated to The Pink Table
Candice van den Bosch, Brutal Fruit Brand Director speaking to IOL explained that The Pink Table is more than an evolution of the brand’s popular Spritzer Saturdays.
“We see it as a global movement,” said van den Bosch at the launch held at the picturesque Cavalli Wine Estate in Cape Town.
“We see it as a space for us to create spaces for intimate connection, where women can unashamedly sit at the table and feel like themselves at the end of the day.
“They are their multifaceted and multidimensional selves, where they can be bold and tender and ambitious yet content.
“They can be fierce, yet fun, and the pink table celebrates that way of being, that way of being able to belong exactly as you are, brutally, beautiful.”
The launch of The Pink Table was buzzing with laughter, joy, and friendship, all the ingredients that encompass sisterhood.
Brutal Fruit has become synonymous with strong connections and friendships, and The Pink Table is their affirmation of that ethos.
The events have created safe spaces where women can come as they are and have a good time with their friends and even make new ones.
Van den Bosch explained that Brutal Fruit events are not about exclusivity but good energy, joy, and connection.
“I think that's one of the most beautiful things about the table; it invites you to come and connect and be exactly as you are.”
Launched 23 years ago in 2002, Brutal Fruit has since become a part of South African culture and has expanded its footprint across Africa, into Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Ghana and Tanzania. Its global success is in Brazil, China, and the United Kingdom.
With the global strategy being an expansion, taking The Pink Table to the world is the plan.
The iconic brand is taking things to greater heights by taking the Pink Table to the beautiful City of Lights during the iconic Paris Fashion Week 2025.
“We're starting it here in South Africa, from here on, there will be other markets like Brazil, the UK, and China, that will have their own Pink Tables,” said van den Bosch
At the beginning of October, select members from various countries will come together at the fashion week in Paris.
Looking ahead, The Pink Table movement will include customised experiences, limited-edition products, and digital platforms that enable women to create their own Pink Table wherever they may gather, including in their own homes.

“We have one goal, and that is to create a space where women can come together and connect.
“Depending on the hats you wear, who you are to different people at The Pink Table, you can just be with your girls and fill your cup,” said Tshangana.
