An antiperspirant roll-on and aerosol are both designed to minimise body odour and to keep sweaty underarms at bay. However, they do have their differences. Here’s what sets roll-ons apart from aerosols:

Roll-on

- The active ingredient is dispensed from a rolling ball, and that makes it easier to achieve even underarm coverage. However, they can only be used on your underarms.

-

When it comes to using a roll-on antiperspirant, you should apply with caution to prevent armpit-shirt contact when wearing dark clothing. Otherwise, you’ll have unsightly stains to deal with. Shield Men Invisible Black + White Roll-On is specially formulated to prevent dark or white marks.

-

They’re convenient for travelling because they’re so portable.

-

Roll-ons are hydrating because water is the main ingredient in most roll-on antiperspirants. However, they require more time to dry.

-

Not ideal for sharing because it can lead to the transfer of bacteria.

Aerosol

- The best thing about using an aerosol deodorant is that it dries quicker under your underarms, making it ideal for people who are always in a rush.

-

There’s less risk of unpleasant white marks on dark clothing. Shield Invisible Black + White Aerosol is specially formulated to prevent excessive sweating and to help black clothes stay black and white clothes remain white.

-

Usage is not limited to your underarms and aerosols can be used all over to combat odour you may experience on other parts of your body.

-

You can share with other family members, and it won’t interfere with your personal hygiene.

Whether you decide to pick a roll-on or aerosol antiperspirant, the products won’t make any significant change if you don’t practice sensible hygiene. If you suffer from excessive sweating, bath or shower twice a day and apply your antiperspirant to skin that’s completely dry for maximum sweat control.
