After tying the knot in a glamorous ceremony at the picturesque Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands, former Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert, now Natasha Vermaak, has embarked on her honeymoon adventure with her husband, Enrico Vermaak.
The couple has chosen the enchanting island of Mauritius as their honeymoon destination, renowned for its stunning landscapes and luxurious accommodations.
In a heartfelt message shared with their followers on Instagram, the newlyweds posted a video as they began their journey to paradise.
"Our honeymoon. ❤️ I've been to Mauritius twice, and both times did not get to experience the leisure side of it; there is no one better than spending it with my husband," Natasha shared.
"When I think of a honeymoon, I just really wanted to relax. It's been a crazy, busy few months leading up to the wedding, and so I wanted somewhere with good weather where we can just unwind and relax," she said.
She also shared more about her experience travelling to the destination, revealing that though the weather looked gloomy, it was, in fact, very humid with beautiful weather.
"Enrico and I were super tired after the wedding, so we immediately went to the room. We actually ordered room service for the first night," she revealed.
