No, we haven't mistakenly uploaded a picture of the new Honda Civic - this is actually the all-new Subaru Impreza.
This Scooby will be unveiled, in both sedan and hatchback configurations, at the New York Auto Show on 20 April and just to whet our appetites, Subaru has teased us with this side-shot of the sedan.
Despite its resemblance to the Civic, the 2012 Impreza is certainly easier on the eye than the current model.
Not much information is available at present, but the company reckons that the base (non-WRX) model will be the most economical AWD car available 'Stateside, with a consumption figure of 6.5 litres per 100km.
Subaru also boasts that the new design provides a roomier interior and improved levels of comfort and refinement, but then don't all new models? Watch this space for more information as it becomes available.
