KwaZulu-Natal police are appealing for public assistance following the fatal shooting of six men in Umlazi, Durban.
The incident occurred on 17 August 2024 at Thabo Morena Street, behind Tehuis Hostel.
The victims have been identified as Innocent Mazeka, 25, Khaliphile Ntombela, 37, Yamukela Mzekeli, 29, Mlungisi Langa, 40, Sinqobile Ngcobo, 30, and Dumisani Mgoza, 39.
Reports indicate that they were sitting together when two unidentified suspects approached and asked for cigarettes.
The assailants initially left but returned moments later, instructing the victims to lie down before opening fire.
All six men sustained fatal gunshot wounds, while three women at the scene escaped unharmed. The suspects fled on foot, and due to the attack occurring at night, no clear description is available.

Police Appeal for Information
Despite following multiple leads, detectives have been unable to track down the perpetrators.
Authorities are now offering a reward of up to R60,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
